VFX Artist (Unity) (project-based)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create stylized VFX for 2D environments and UI
- Develop VFX for Spine characters
- Create UI animations
- Understand the limitations of mobile platforms and optimize performance accordingly
- Work with existing materials, ensuring they are processed and brought to the desired final result
- Collaborate with artists, technical artists, engineers, QA teams, leads, and clients
- Select materials and build a reference base for the project
- Maintain and organize VFX assets
- Work with project documentation
- Work with Git branches and collaborate in Unity
- Continuously improve and suggest enhancements to workflows when necessary
Requirements:
- Minimum of middle-level experience or higher
- At least 2 years of experience in mobile game development
- Experience with Casual Projects and Mobile Games (demonstrated in portfolio)
- Solid experience with Unity and Unity ParticleSystem components
- Experience with Shader Graph
- Familiarity with Unity pipelines
- Knowledge of Unity 2D animation
- Knowledge of Photoshop and basic graphic editing skills
- Experience creating VFX for UI and Environment
- Proven experience with GIT
- Strong technical expertise in VFX
- Ability to focus on product goals, review work, and suggest reasonable changes from a VFX perspective
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Comfortable with change and an iterative work style
- Able to work with feedback
- Clear and direct communication with both the team and clients
- Upper-intermediate English is a must
