This April, Whimsy Games joined the global blockchain gaming community at TOKEN2049 Dubai 2025 – one of the industry’s most influential gatherings for Web3, crypto, and GameFi professionals. Representing our team were Denys Kliuch (CEO) and Anton Paramonov (CPO), both eager to connect with builders, share insights, and explore what’s next in NFT-powered gaming and decentralized game economies.
“Minimal sunburn, maximum talkings,” Denys said. And that pretty much sums it up.
Beyond panels and booths, TOKEN2049 brought what really counts: authentic conversations, spontaneous pitch sessions (yes, even one involving a Layer-2 idea drawn on a napkin), and meaningful exchanges with other Web3 game developers, investors, and founders.
It was a chance to see where the blockchain gaming space is headed and to share our experience building next-gen play-to-earn games and immersive NFT ecosystems.
