Senior Game Designer (with experience in economy)
Competencies and Experience:
- Proven experience of a minimum of 4+ years in game design, with a focus on gameplay mechanics, economy, and user experience.
- Experience working with the Unity Engine.
- Strong proficiency in creating and interpreting Game Design Documents (GDD).
- Proficient in rapid prototyping tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of current market trends and player preferences in the gaming industry.
- Experience with data analysis and using insights to drive design decisions.
- Passion for gaming and a drive to create immersive and memorable player experiences.
- Solid knowledge in creating engaging and balanced gameplay spaces, with a keen eye for level flow, pacing, and player experience.
- Focus on player-centric design, ensuring that levels provide a satisfying and immersive experience for players, regardless of their skill level.
- Upper-intermediate level of English is a must (written and spoken).
- Experience working with prototyping in Unity.
- Experience designing seasonal content, limited-time events, and battle pass structures.
- Familiarity with F2P retention loops, recurring engagement features, and milestone-based reward systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
Requirements:
- Create game concepts aligned with client requirements and market trends.
- Develop GDD outlining gameplay mechanics, features, and unique selling points.
- Design core and meta gameplay mechanics, rules, and systems that create an enjoyable and balanced player experience.
- Proven experience in LiveOps, monetization design, or event systems in a shipped game.
- Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that facilitate smooth player interaction, seamless navigation, and clear feedback.
- Provide guidance to the team to ensure cohesive aesthetics and atmosphere.
- Implement changes based on data-driven insights.
- Ensure clear communication of design intent to development teams.
