About Project
Doggo’s Adventure Match is a colourful 2D mobile Match-3 puzzle game that follows a curious Black Labrador Retriever puppy on his journey to find his two lost friends, Chewie and Loki, while escaping the mischievous “tree gremlins.”
The game brings together engaging puzzle mechanics, charming 2D visuals, and lively animations to create a warm, feel‑good experience with a meaningful mission — all profits are donated to dog shelters, helping real dogs in need.

Client and Project
Brickwall Creations, LLC came to Whimsy Games with a project that felt deeply personal. The client’s love for dogs was the heartbeat of this game from day one. He wasn’t just a product owner – he was a passionate advocate for the cause behind it.
The goal was clear: to create a mobile game that’s fun, emotionally resonant, and genuinely helps raise money for dogs in need. Whimsy Games embraced that mission and brought it to life in every design choice, every animation frame, and every line of code.

Challenges Faced
Localisation Across Seven Languages
The team delivered full localisation in Japanese, German, French, Korean, Spanish, Polish, and Chinese, with each language undergoing careful testing across all game levels to ensure the layout and gameplay felt right in every version.
Multi-Language QA at Scale
Testing in seven languages meant actually playing through every level in every language. The team caught layout breaks, truncated text, and font rendering issues thanks to a structured QA process designed specifically for this project’s scale.
Deep Client Involvement
The client was there at every stage of development. Managing his feedback while keeping the emotional authenticity he brought to the project required clear communication and a disciplined, transparent development process.
Animation Quality on Mobile
Every 2D animation and VFX element had to feel delightful on screen while running smoothly across different devices. The team constantly balanced visual charm with technical optimisation to keep the experience both beautiful and performant.
The Product Owner
The client behind Doggo’s Adventure Match had a clear vision and a genuinely meaningful cause. He stayed fully involved throughout the entire development journey – reviewing concepts, giving thoughtful feedback on characters, and staying close to every milestone. His emotional investment in the project helped shape the game’s identity and kept the team focused on its true purpose: creating something heartfelt for the dogs who need it most.
